ART AS TRANSINDIVIDUAL PRACTICE ?

French philosopher Anne LEFEBVRE will be giving a lecture on the work of Gilbert Simondon, February 28th, 2015, at Kunsthalle-Leipzig.

Her lecture will address the problem of invention, focusing on its technological and sociopolitical stakes, defending the contemporary necessity of constructing a new understanding of the image.

Anne LEFEBVRE completed her PhD in philosophy in 2011, under the supervision of Frederic Worms, entitled "De la pensée de l'image à l'image de la pensée". She is currently the program director at Collège International de Philosophie, and teaches at Ecole Nationale supérieure d'architecture de Saint-Etienne.
